Since the 2026 Ambies are being held tonight, I decided now would be a good time to post this winner’s compilation from last year. The graphics are not uniform. Some of these clips were edited closer to April 2025 and I’m still learning Da Vanci Resolve. Add in trying to get this out before this year’s awards and corners were cut. Finally, for posterity, here are the last year’s winners and their categories. Obviously there were more than the one’s in the video. If you’re at this year’s ceremony be sure to look for this person in the foreground. That’s a nervous Dawn-Michelle about to interview Ira Glass. Lewis will be attending this year as well. Maybe Glass will be there too. I don’t know.

Update and Housekeeping
Before I get into the update, I will make sure there are captions in the video (once added) are correct (to the best of my hearing ability). Getting this out before the event was top on the list of priorities.
A new episode of the revamped News and Interviews podcast is coming soon. Expect it after the second part of the Richard Toscan interview drops. By “new” I actually mean new and not a repurposed old episode. The raw audio has been sitting on my hard drive since 2024. It was supposed to be for an article on sound design and the audio aesthetics differ from production to production under a single network. (e.g. do all Realm shows sound similar to each other? If so what’s the key ingredient or the common denominator? What effect does the mixing and design have on listeners?).
